Lettuce Wedge with Poppy Seed Dressing recipe


1/3 cup of vinegar, white.
1 ½ teaspoons of onion juice.
½ cup of sugar.
1 teaspoon of dry mustard.
1 teaspoon of salt.
1 cup of vegetable oil.
2 teaspoons of poppy seeds.
1 head of iceberg lettuce.


In a mixing bowl, combine the vinegar, onion juice, sugar, mustard and salt. Stir using an electric mixer on low setting.

Whisking constantly, pour in the vegetable oil, and continue to beat until dressing is smooth and thick.

Stir in the poppy seeds.

Cut the lettuce into 6 wedges and lay each on a salad plate.

Ladle on the dressing to taste.
